Overview
What isn’t clear to the average fire victim/homeowner is all the steps and processes required to clear a property. LA Pre-Build is trying to simplify the steps, and provide one-stop shopping for homeowners with both simple and complex removal/clean-up needs. Each house is different which is why you might have received more or less insurance funding than your neighbor. This overall approach includes:
Permitting/Clearance to Remove
The County and City have been a little unclear - we've been tracking and know what is needed in order to get started on your property.
Dirt Testing
We have the company who will do the initial soil test, see what toxic chemicals do and do not exist on your property so that you (with our help) can make an intelligent decision on how much soil to remove at this phase in the process.
Pool Pump Out
Even if you're planning on keeping your pool, the water needs to be removed. We provide this service at a per truck fixed price.
Capping Sewers
Don 't overlook this step, small but important before starting to scrape.
Documentation - Before & After for Building Permit
Our team will be on-site for two to four days. We'll take pictures and send you the before and after pictures for submission to the insurance companies and so you have it for posterity if you ever decide to sell your house.
Additional Services for Construction
LA Pre-Build also wants to make it easy to work with various sub-contractors. We’ve been on the Westside for 20+ years. We know who to call when a specialty service is needed, and we want to be able to add that to your estimate, so you know approximately what it’s going to cost. And we believe you want input on the subs, versus finding a guy in a truck or doing a Google search.
Our team includes Palisades natives, people with parents still in the Palisades and others who feel lucky the fire didn’t spread further to their neighborhoods. This work is personal …. and we want to be a trusted source and service provider.
